About the project...

I was asked to transform the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) annual report from a traditional, text-heavy document into a more engaging and editorial publication. GIFCT is a nonprofit organization that brings together technology companies, governments, civil society, and academic partners to prevent terrorists and violent extremists from exploiting digital platforms. 

The challenge was to introduce a contemporary, magazine-inspired aesthetic while retaining the clarity, structure, and credibility expected of a formal annual report.

A key focus of the project was communicating complex information in a way that was accessible and visually engaging. This involved developing a clear information hierarchy and creating graphics that translated detailed data and abstract concepts into digestible, easy-to-understand content. 

The result was an annual report that balanced professionalism with a more modern reading experience, encouraging greater engagement without compromising the integrity of the information.
